How to use colored pencils !

Here are 5 top tips on how to use colored pencils for beginners! 1. Make sure your pencils are sharp! It is always great to start off with sharp pencils because it will allow you to have more control of where the color will go compared to blunt pencils which will give you thicker strokes of color.  It is also important to use quality colored pencils which will not break every time you sharpen them. A few brands I would recommend for colored pencils are: Faber Castell, Prismacolor and Winsor & Newton. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to draw Jimin. Stay tuned for a comparison from my drawing of him from 5 years ago compared to now. Step 1: First of all you have to choose a photo which you would like to use as a reference image for your drawing. It is always useful to have a photo to guide you in your drawing process, so make sure you have a copy of the photo on your phone, tablet, PC, or as a print. I chose this photo of Jimin as my reference image. Reference Image Step 2: Sketch out an outline of the drawing. If you find it difficult to get the measurements and positioning of the features correctly, I would recommend that you trace the image to ensure that you position all the facial features in their correct place.
